Now hiring a Production Planner to join Commscope at extraordinary exciting times, as we are experiencing an expansion of new lines!

You will join our Operations team, working with the Operations Manager based in our Bodelwyddan, North Wales location where there is a chance to create a real impact on the Planning team in the UK and Worldwide.

How You'll Help us Connect The World

The Production Planner will provide guidance to management to reschedule shipments in cases of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and customer readiness issues.

In this role, together with a team of other 3 Production Planner onsite, the focus is on covering multiple planning areas, within the production of fiber cable and assemblies.

You will have the chance to define daily work priorities within the department to facilitate production and resolve problems with inventory or material shortages through review of SAP system and transaction documentation

On top of this, you play a central role between customer and supplier, offering a high service level based on customer expectations, intensive daily interaction with the customer service team is required.

Your ability to build a constructive relationship with several supplying parties and communicate in an effective way will be key to thrive in the role.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Extensive planning/operations experience within manufacturing or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field plus recent experience in resource planning.
• Proven track record to drive successful inventory optimisation, on-time delivery, lead time responsiveness within a manufacturing organisation.
• Recent experience collaborating with Customer Service, Demand Planning & Product Line Management functions.
• Significant experience with SAP and reporting tools required, Including routings, work centers, materials, BOMs, PVs, and production orders.
