CommScope has an open position for an Operations Supervisor in Euless TX. This position works second shift times from Monday to Thursday (4:30 pm to 2:30 am).

As a part of our high energy and robust manufacturing team, this position is responsible towards coordinating, supervising and leading all aspects of the shift activities.

Ensuring that production targets and departmental goals are achieved by communicating objectives. Facilitate good working culture, security and safety of operations and workforce. Motivating employees and improving skills to their highest potential. Keeping management updated on overall individual team member performance.


  • Oversee shift schedules and work allocation. Prioritize workloads in order to meet product objectives in all areas as advised by Operations Supervisor. Manages and mentors shop-floor workers, shift leaders to optimize overall efficiency on shifts.
  • Ensure that systems and procedures are followed, that employees are at work on time, effectively engaged in their assigned work and conforming to established safety regulations. Ensures that all company policies are followed. Provides immediate performance feedback/counseling as the need arises to resolve employee conflicts.
  • Assist in short-term resolution of emergency situations (e.g., injuries) or safety issues, attendance issues, conduct, etc. In emergency type situations will make an independent decision on the course of corrective action. Administers direct supervisory responsibilities for manufacturing personnel, including training, performance evaluation, corrective action, promotional recommendations and work schedules.
  • Works with various support functions (e.g., Operations Supervisor, Engineering, maintenance, etc.) to resolve production problems and assist in troubleshooting. Provides feedback to Engineering and management on equipment operation and production efficiency (road blocks and positives).
  • Responsible for completing daily and monthly status reports pertaining to production, employee performance/conduct and process flow.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and nny other relevant duty as assigned by the management


  • High School diploma or GED with five years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Must have five years of proven expertise in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills with a strong potential for leadership development are required for this role

Have 5S knowledge, are proficient with SAP as it relates to time and attendance, material transactions and have a background in Shipping/Receiving.
