Responsibilities

Technical Lead - Candidate will be playing the technical lead role on Android projects. Will be crafting solutions. Responsibility includes feature estimations, design, implementation and solving sophisticated issues reported on the product. Role may demand interfacing with stakeholders including Customers, Architects, Product Management, Systems Engineering, Google and SOC vendors.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor of Engineering /MCA with Work Experience of 6+ Years on STB and 3+years on Android TV.

Technical Skills

• Good programming and debugging skills on Android platform
• Good understanding of Android Framework, Android HAL, IPC mechanisms, IDL, Boot and Memory optimizations
• Working knowledge on Media devices and Android TV will be preferred
• Working knowledge of Android application states
• Strong in Java, C, C++
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience on performing memory profiling of ATV stack on Broadcom SOC and fine tuning memory and CPU performance.
• Working experience on resolving WiFi issues on Android products.
• Working experience on resolving HDMI interoperability issues on Android products.
• Working knowledge on ATV letter upgrade and board bring up.

Soft Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Flexible in collaborating with different stakeholders.
