Position Title: Senior Engineer, R&D LTE L3
General Summary: OnLook out for telecommunication professionals with expertise in eNodeB/ gNB protocol /feature development in RRM /RRC functional areas
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design, Coding and Unit Testing of new features in TE/5G RRC & RRM areas-Development and improvement of module / component tests on a powerful Embedded Target system. Work with across functional teams during the development cycle
Root cause and fix the problems reported during QA phase and also from field, Need to handle features independently starting from requirements to architecture and design and feature deliver and support
Related Education & Experience:
BE/ME Degree in CSE/ECE with 8 -11 Years of related technical experience.
We are exploring multifaceted folk's understanding of new product/feature requirements and deep knowledge of LTE Layer 3 protocols viz.. RRC, S1AP, X2AP, SON, Exposure to 5G NR L3 protocols, Dual Connectivity is desirable
- Excellent understanding of RRM software functions and architecture and good exposure to eNodeB/gNB feature development in RRC and RRM areas is a must
- Experience in real time operating system concepts. Exposure to multi-thread application development on multi-core real time embedded Linux platforms, Exposure to Aricent LTE/5G protocol stack is an advantage
- Good programming skills in “C”, “C++”. Exposure to scripting languages viz.. Python, shell scripting etc is desirable
We need folks with good interpersonal skills and ability to technically lead small teams is added advantage
